My strong mental health
Practical tools for managing stress and protecting mental health, in a age group where suicide is among the leading causes of death.
Mental health problems and psychological distress are important drivers of suicide among adolescents and young people in the EU. Studies have found that about 25% of young people between 16 and 24 feel anxiety or stress at least once a day — during a phase of life where personality is formed, school is finished and work begins. In schools or at home we are not taught to manage stress, but it is an important tool we should learn. This is why Youth Line Germany began developing projects in mental health, sport and meditative practice.
